As promised, Star Trek Online is rolling out season 34 – aka Unleashed – on PC today. The episode starts Jeri Ryan, Jonathan Del Arco, and Mary Chieffo reprising their roles as Seven of Nine, Director Hugh, and Chancellor L’Rell, respectively.

“Arc Games and DECA Games are excited to announce the launch of Star Trek Online: Unleashed, the 34th season of the free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG on PC!” the teams write. “Starting today, PC players can team up for a daring extraction mission in the latest episode Best Laid Plans, battle in a high-stakes five-player Task Force Operation (TFO), and experience the newest arc in the ongoing Borg Multiversal War.”

The new episode, Best Laid Plans, sees players assisting Director Hugh:

“Hugh, the acclaimed Cooperative Borg Leader and Director of the Reclamation Project, urgently calls upon you from Deep Space 9. He needs your assistance in a daring extraction mission after Thaseen-Fei’s location is revealed through new confirmed intelligence. Team up with Borg expert Seven of Nine and other allies to dismantle the Aetherian threat and uncover the secrets behind their subterfuge. In Best Laid Plans, Director Hugh returns as the Leader of the Cooperative Borg and Director of the Borg Reclamation Project. He is joined by Jeri Ryan who reprises her role as Seven of Nine, our unaffiliated expert on all things Borg.”

The TFO, meanwhile, is called Shattered Peace.

“Alliance Headquarters at Khitomer is under siege. Respond to a distress call from Seven of Nine and take down multiple enemy incursions in orbit of Khitomer. Seven of Nine provides guidance from the ground through a set of orbital challenges, including rifts, waves of enemies, allies turned hostile, and more. In Shattered Peace, Jeri Ryan reprises her role as Seven of Nine.”

DECA is also running an event as part of the season, incorporating both these new bit of content as well as past content Devil’s Heart and All That Matter. Patch notes are up now too! Do note that the devs have said the patch should be up around 1 p.m. EDT: “The update is still on its way to you, but will be delayed by around an hour,” DECA wrote in Discord. Console launch on PlayStation and Xbox is still expected November 11th.
