Last week, we caught our first glimpse of Amazon’s next big thing, March of Giants, which the studio is calling a “war MOBA.” As of today, the game has entered alpha testing as players are invited to queue up and offer feedback.

“This Closed Alpha is our first pass at bringing March of Giants to life,” the Montreal-based Amazon substudio says. “It will not be perfect. You may encounter bugs, rough balance, and unpredictable moments, all of which are vital to shaping development through player feedback. This test represents only a portion of the content planned for full release. Future phases will expand the experience with new gameplay features, broader regional access, and additional language support.”

What is in this leg of the test? A PvP map, the Breach mode, custom games, bot matches, tutorials, five battleworks, and 15 playable giants. Yes, you play a giant.

Signups are ongoing, though not instant; just plink the green “request access” button on Steam and hope Amazon opens up the test even more. Once you do get in, you can apparently use Steam to invite your friends, too. The alpha is expected to run through September 10th, but in the meantime, you can check out the new trailer.
