August was a crazy-busy month in the video game world, especially with Gamescom dominating the news a few weeks back. So you’d be totally forgiven if you overlooked the fact that PAX West also happened this past weekend in Seattle, continuing a tradition that dates all the way back to 2004. According to organizers, more than 100,000 fans attended this show (for context, the first PAX West hosted a mere 3300 people).

The good news for PAX fans is that the convention’s organizers already announced that the event is returning next Labor Day weekend, from September 4th through the 7th, 2026.

Additionally, PAX East 2026 is scheduled from March 26th through the 29th, 2026, in Boston. There’s also a PAX Unplugged 2025 tabletop gaming event coming to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in late November.
