I don’t think I’ll ever get over the crazy saga that was, and is, No Man’s Sky. From a crowdfunded project that promised the (literal) stars to a disappointing release that was showered with derision to a gradually redeemed and then glorified game, this title is a comeback story for the ages.

But I’m sure it’s not alone. When you think of MMOs that changed their reputation for the better over time, what comes to mind? It doesn’t have to be nearly anything as sweeping as No Man’s Sky, merely a turn of fortune from a game that used to be mocked or criticized to one that earned people’s respect. What say you?
