It’s not just days that end in “y” for Star Trek Online and DC Universe Online; it’s anniversary time for the IPs associated with each MMORPG, and that means fans of each title will get to experience some celebratory content to mark some long-standing pop culture icons.

First, STO is commemorating the September 8th, 1966 debut of the original series with the return of Star Trek Day festivities running between now and September 22nd. This will once more bring a floating museum of Star Trek ships and history over Deep Space Nine and Earth Space Dock, with factoids and trivia that span across TV series and movies, along with the return of a special title for those who peruse all ten exhibits.

Meanwhile over in DCUO, the superheroic MMO is once more celebrating Batman Day between now and September 23rd, with daily missions centered around the World’s Greatest Detective in order to earn a classic Batman chest logo and a choice of either 80,000 ally favor or a selection of one of four Batman allies, though this unlock will be account-bound.
