Dungeons and Dragons Online’s war against server lag is waging on the actual landscape itself, as this past week’s Update 75.3 made changes to the scenery in the name of performance improvements. (Thanks Mick!)

“Extensive work has been done to clean up incorrectly flagged decorative objects which were being tracked by the server and causing our garbage collection processes to back up when under heavy load conditions,” SSG said. “Certain rock formations and walkable trees have had their physics simplified. These objects were found to be excessively complex and were taxing the server.”
