In between all of the other adventures players can get up to in Vana’diel, how would you like to wrangle some livestock? The Blazing Buffaloes event that returns on September 24th invites you to do just that, with Final Fantasy XI players herding cows and calves back under the direction of local moogles. Fortunately for adventurers, the moogles will also prevent you from attacking or being attacked during your duties; unfortunately for adventurers, you’ll have to contend with ornery livestock that require players to carefully guide them back.

Along the way, players need to avoid both aggressive bulls and wandering chigoes, with each animal guided back rewarding brands that can be exchanged for a variety of cosmetic rewards. If you want to prove yourself the most deft cowhand in all of Sarutabaruta, this is your chance; just make sure to do so and claim your appropriate rewards before the event heads off into the horizon once more as of October 8th.
